今週初めからスタートしたSHIBUYA PARCOでの期間限定MINOTAUR SHOPをオープンするようになった経緯をご説明します。
数ヶ月前、知人から紹介された方が僕ら世代にリアルタイムで影響を与えてくれたDJ KRUSHさんなどの世代が影響を受けてきた1983年に公開された映画WILD STYLEの出演者を来日させたり、Swiftyに影響を与えたNeville Brodyに携わるお仕事や数年前WK,RYAN McGINNESS,etcなどのエキシビジョンが開催されていたParcoギャラリーの環境などを作られてきた方だったんです。
要は今まで影響を受けてきたアーティストやDJに影響を与えたアーティストやDJ（先輩の先輩）を日本に呼んでくれた方でした。
それらの出来事について２０年程前から噂を聞いて育った僕としては、世代を越えて御縁が有った事をとても嬉しく思いましたし、そのような方が指揮するSHIBUYA PARCOは文化意識の高い環境づくりを心がけているイメージを持ちましたので出店させて頂きました。
