「五節句の一つで、菖蒲の花が『尚武』つまり武を尊ぶ意味に通じることから、古来、邪気を払い子供の健康と成長を願って浴槽に菖蒲を入れるようになりました。」
It enjoyed the smell of the season in the bathtub last night.
「The Shobu is known for the pleasant smell of its rhizome and leaves.
The leaves were traditionally used to decorate the eaves of houses and added to bathwater during celebrations of Boy's Day(now children'sday)on May 5th.」
