I am so happy to get back to Catania (Sicily) to play at the wonderful Mercati Generali.
Since my first time there [2001?] I felt this place was real special!
Diego and Franco are always great hosts and there I also met one of my favourite italian djs, Massimo Napoli.
This time I'll be playing at Sergio Scandurra's Blue Nite wich is one of the most successful events at Mercati. He had Rich Medina guest last month and I heard was rocking....Sergio keep some sicilian wine ready...aight!!!

Last weekend I had the pleasure to play again with Domu. If I remember correctly, we havent played together since 2-3 years so I was really looking forward to this gig at Boca Barranca. The place was busy and we kept the party going with a mix of old and new and pretty eclectic in styles, but I think staying always really soulful.
I even dropped 'Let It Go' in a nostalgic moment [right after the second bottle of Jalè Consumano]!
All in all a great weekend, sparkled by the bad ass sunday afternoon soul disco set by Federico Grasso and by the presence of all the friends [Franco, Giulia, Tommy, Cristiana, Giorgia, RIccio, Carlotta, Gino, Ma's own Matteo Sola, etc etc].
For the lucky ones in Chicago and the ones who can travel, this is definetly the disco party of the year!
Sadar and Lee Collins plus an all star line up perfoming live! Chicago's house live band Mr Ali is backing Leroy Burgess and the fantastic Donna McGhee: make it last forever!!!
Sadar will be back at Garage Paradise in November, can't wait!!!
Phil Asher visited Verona and the Lake of Garda for a night of soulful and spiritual grooves at Vela Cafè.
Once again he rocked the spot with a great selection...highlights of the night were his own Minotaur, Exaltation and Orchidz and few things like 'dope jam' and a new Orin Walters re-rub of Kaidi's 'Armz r dez'...sick!!!
