TBS - Black Ships

This week Alex from Tokyo is in Italy to promote his new album for the uber cool label Innervisions. He'll be presenting it at the Slam Jam store in Milano [check the ltd edition TBS X Innervisions X Slam Jam silk scarfs] and at the best italian record store: Le Disque, of course. Also he'll be spinning at Tunnel in Milano on wednesday and Gomma in Brescia on friday. Considering this week there is also Salone del Mobile in Millano and we have the Garage Paradise party at Cap Creus, I might need some vitamins....

Jazz in Sardinia

This coming weekend I'm off to Sardinia to play at the Soulpower Easter Event with mr Alex Barck from Jazzanova. It is a great opportunity for me as I havent been in Sardinia in ions, and actually I never went to Alghero before. So thanx to Gianluca Carboni for the invite and for organizing such a nice event! He is also working on a bigger festival for the end of the summer, so I will definetly write more soon about this. Look forward to play with Alex, he is always an exceptional dj. Here a picture of the last gig we did in Bologna for Maround's MAT. On the bill for the night also Sanchezlife who is a dj and also the graphic designer who did the flyer, will investigate more on his new projects too.

DIVINITI + PIRAHNAHEAD

Here a couple of pictures from the Soul Heaven pool party where Pirahnahead was playing alongside Phil, Vega, Lil Louis. I finally got the chance to meet Diviniti and dj Minx from Women on Wax, Detroit. I am a big fan of Diviniti and Pirahnahead since I got my hands on 'find a way' and been supporting all their releases since. I also got a wonderful remix from him for 'give it up' from the Isoul8 album on sonarkollektiv as well as a guitar contribution on the song 'just the way i like it'. Was great to see them and I hope to collaborate again in the near future! Be on the look out for Pirahna's new acid masterpiece 'Mirror Muse-Internal Inspiration' and the new Diviniti 'Sun Will Rise' on Especial, japan.
