Stussy in association with Stones Throw has produced a documentary on the Detroit beatmaker, possibly the best hip hop producer of all time. Love the way Stussy is always behind good music, lately they supported another Stones Throw artist: Dam-Funk!!!
Milano don't miss this great opportunity to swing to real music rathen than the latest hype.....ya get?!!?
For those who don't know Jenifa's music yet, I highly recommend to check her stuff on Bu-mako recordings. Some of it is available just digitally [from the usual suspect: traxsource, juno...], other releases are pressed on wax like the Bu-mako 012 wich features the real baad cut 'Bearings'. Now she's back with the "Music 4 Adults" ep with 3 really solid songs, with 'At Your Discretion' being my favourite.
I licensed one of her songs for the next Neroli release [the first in over 2 years] and collaborated on another song due for release in the spring.....hoping in more work with this exciting artist in the near future!!!
For those around in north Italy, a couple parties worth checking:
-this saturday 13th february i will be djin in Brescia at Pacha for the Disco Volante night, with DJ D.C.
I expect some real fun, as the city is full of music headz like Euro, Phil, Sandro and crew.
It's a carnival party so I might use my iena plinsky look!!!
-next weekend, saturday 20th, Garage Paradise is back at Capannina in Bologna with myself, Riccio and Paolo Ldsq. No need to say, that's going to be Hot!
