If you can't make it out on Wednesday, be sure to check the return of MY FAVORITE THINGS in New York on Tuesday, February 24.

After taking the party to Tokyo, we're excited to back in our regular home of over 6 years, APT. To celebrate the occasion, we've invited one of my favorite producers of all time, Dego of 4 Hero fame. Now splitting time between London and Brooklyn, Dego is busy checking football, working on new music, and running his 2000 Black label.

We'll also be joined by boogie legend, Leroy Burgess, who will bless us with some of his new songs in a short live performance. Upstairs, we've got extended family FunkyTokyoHotBus with Akihiro and Yujin providing the music, and the premier of StudioBooth.

Doors open at 10pm. RSVP to secure your spot.

Shepard vs. AP

There's an interesting copyright battle going on between artist Shepard Fairey and The Associated Press. After the poster design caught on and became the unofficial graphic of Obama's campaign, the AP came to collect royalties citing the original photo that was used as inspiration. But now Shepard has sued them, claiming fair use. What do you think?

Ch, ch, changes

After only a year, Fabien Baron has announced his departure from Interview Magazine. So soon? M/M Paris are rumored to be taking over. And whispers from Paris fashion week indicate that Dior Homme is scoping Gareth Pugh as the successor to Kris Van Assche.

Kobe Bryant broke a new record last night at Madison Square Garden. Even the Knicks fans were loving it.
Thanks for organizing that one D.

Then/Now

Its been interesting to chart Taz Arnold's course in recent months. From SA-RA front man, to fashion designer and consultant. He's recently been tapped by Kanye to work on his Pastelle line, and he's helping to relaunch the 80's Luggage brand MCM. Paris fashion week was buzzing on his crazy style for the second season in a row.

Here he is with SA-RA in 2004 at our Rude summer series. Their demos were floating around causing a lot of noise, and we were lucky enough to bring them down to the party for one of their first proper NYC shows.
