Congrats to Jeff and the Staple/Reed crew on the release of "Reed Pages". A few of my friends were involved in its creation-- shouts to Jay and Brian. Looks great!

Great little book from the former Saatchi creative director Paul Arden. Thanks for the tip @illdefined.

Last week, one of the country's largest banks and lenders GMAC rebranded itself as ALLY in an attempt to distance itself from the troubles in the financial industry. I worked alongside advertising giants BBH to develop the new identity last year. Its exciting to see it finally come to life. The TV spots are pretty funny too.

I'm really impressed by the new record from Mitsu The Beats. One of the more interesting hip hop albums I've heard in a while. It seems like the Jazzy Sport crew just goes from strength to strength. Artwork by Shibuya.

My friends Robi & Leanne are setting up a temporary gallery space on 14th street for one week only. I'll play some tunes on opening night with Dego and Ge-ology.

And next weekend is the sixth annual Loving Day party which celebrates the legalization of interracial marriage in the USA.

It was good to see my man Gerry V back in town for a quick visit. He's always doing big things. His cousin Jane is super talented as well !
Time for another one already?
Lots of heavy material this month. If you haven't checked it yet, the "Suite For Ma Dukes" project from Carlos Nino and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson is nothing short of beautiful. Karriem Riggins' new LP is going to be large -- a mix of live jazz and studio beats. Also new beats & rhymes from Pete Rock. On the uptempo tip, its nice to see King Britt banging out a solid remix for Zaki Ibrahim, and breakbeat master Seiji drops a devastating latin dancefloor cut. And don't sleep on Omar S -- not a brand new cut -- but one of the hottest producer/djs of the moment. Enjoy!

Two of my favorite new magazines going from strength to strength- TAR, now designed by Li, Inc., and Man About Town, designed by Saturday.

And I had a chance meeting with Ryo from Studio NewWork and NewWork magazine. They are doing some really beautiful and inspiring work.

This year I'm really jealous that I can't go with the PUMA guys on the Gumball 3000 adventure. 3000 miles / 120 cars 8 states / 8 days / No rules / No speed limits.
Check out Dustin's great travelogue for some images.

Shout out to Italy's Super Value crew- Riccardo and the legendary Luca 'LTJ Experience' Travesi.
These guys are doing some serious edits that you need in your life. Thanks again guys.

How come nobody told me about Wooooo Magazine? A pocket-size reader featuring interviews with Aaron Rose, Agyness Deyn, Christopher Bollen, Phillip Lorca Dicorcia and Andrew Kuo. Great stuff.

Cool to see The Selby making moves with a new temporary shop at Colette.
